Catherine Anne
Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born on March 4 1954), is a Canadian-American actor and comedian. O'Hara has been awarded a variety of prizes, including the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award) as well as two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, O'Hara was made an Officer of Canada. In the year 2020, she received the Governor General’s Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara's first recognition as an actress when she was a member the The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. She was a part of the principal ensemble cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) alongside John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara began working with Candy on Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara was praised for her stand-up and writing talents, winning the Primetime Emmy Award of Outstanding Writing for Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara was part of the brand-new Second City artistic Advisory Board that was headed by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board included Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key.
