Jennifer Rene Psaki

Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She was secretary from 2021 to 2022. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously was a part of the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009); the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011); the spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013-2015); and the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was a political contributor for CNN from 2017 through 2020. Psaki started her professional career in 2001 when she worked on the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki then was appointed the the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was the communications director of Joseph Crowley, a U.S. Representative, and regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 to 2006. Psaki was named the press secretary of President Obama's election campaign. [20] Psaki was appointed the spokesperson for the United States Department of State. 20 years ago, she was employed by the Department of State to fill the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's position.[21] But, Josh Earnest took his place on May 30,2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 as the director of communications, and she remained there until the end of Obama's presidency.
